A longtime resident of Healdsburg, a historic wine country town, in the heart of Sonoma County, Barbara has loved getting to know this expansive county and all of its personalities. From the Sonoma Coast to the Sonoma Mountains, this is one magnificent wine country and there is no shortage of opportunities for exploration. When Barbara is not traveling her local community, she travels the U.S. and the world, many times with her Jack Russell, Noelle, and daughter, Charlotte. |

7 FANTASTIC DUDE RANCHES PERFECT FOR A WINTER GETAWAY •Octomber 10. 2020.
Just saying it, dude ranch, sounds cool. Although I didn't discover dude ranching until I was an adult and could really feel the sore muscles after a day of riding, I never regret the decision to become a cowgirl (or boy) for a week -- or longer. Aching body, sunburn, and the challenges of the day are easily forgotten when chatting around the honor bar, whiskey in hand.NAPA VALLEY REGISTER • learn more
